Hide windows and programs
Note: For Windows 7/Vista, we recommend that you run Hide Any Window as administrator so you have all necessary permissions.

Hide Any Window helps you instantly hide opened windows and running programs from your desktop so they are not visible neither on the desktop nor in the Taskbar, system tray and task manager.
Hide Any Window is ready for action at any point of your work. To hide windows and running programs:
- press Alt +1 (default 'Hide windows and programs' hotkey);
- or double-click the Hide Any Window desktop icon and click the 'Hide' icon

in the toolbar;
- or right-click the Hide Any Window tray icon and select 'Hide selected windows and programs'

Note: programs and windows you need to hide should added to the 'Hide windows and programs' list first
For more convenience the program provides the built-in 'Hide windows and programs' list that includes Internet Explorer, MSN Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Google Chrome, Opera, Maxthon, Windows Media Player, InterVideo WinDVD, QuickTime Player and Windows Messenger.

Tips:
For additional privacy you can set the program to:
- mute sound on hiding, so nobody knows what game you have played, what movie you have seen, etc.
- Some programs such as games, dvd players, etc. could change the screen resolution. With Hide Any Window you can automatically restore the screen resolution to the normal one.
- show the windows and programs which you are supposed to work with (useful when you are at work)
- 'don't show hidden windows on program exit' so nobody except you would ever know what windows and programs were hidden.
- hide selected programs and windows automatically, so nobody knows you are using these programs and windows at all.
- run the program in the invisible mode
